    Chief Science Officer

    Chris is a UC Foundation Associate Professor and graduate faculty member in the Department of Psychology at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC), where he is also the Industrial and Organizational Psychology Graduate Program Director.

    Outside of UTC, Chris is also an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor (for research) in Internal Medicine at The University of Tennessee College of Medicine-Chattanooga. He currently teaches undergraduate and graduate-level seminars on organizational and occupational health psychology, organizational development and change, quantitative/qualitative research methods, statistics, assessment development, and professional ethics and career planning.

    Chris is Chief Science Officer for Logi-Serve, and the primary consultant for client measurement services at The Solution Group. He is involved with multiple healthcare industry research projects that seek to improve health and well-being for workers in this industry, as well as their efficiency and effectiveness on the job. Chris is an editorial board member for four applied psychological journals and a frequent peer-reviewer for 15 other applied psychological and management journals.

    Chris earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Lehigh University, and a master’s and doctorate in industrial and organizational psychology from Bowling Green State University.
